Post Clarks Concert Edition
A Sober Friday Night in Morgantahn
npoc and a few clarks faithful from back where he comes from, made their way down to the local ampitheatre in morgantahn
It was practically on the river, a ghost ship actually came by during The Clarks set
It was raining like hell and about 40 degrees coupled with the fact that everyone was pretty moist and saturated
we were the first people to arrive and got front row center on the bleachers
ShowTime
Ingram Hill took the stage first at about 6, and played in front of a couple dozen people
Not bad at all, its been done before, but they were pretty good
Recommended Download
Ingram Hill "closer"
The temperature dropped another 10 degrees and pseudonym or sodapop(I really couldn't understand their name) played their set.
They were a Dave Matthews clone, jamband, that stretched 3 songs into an entire set
Nothing special
Nothing worth downloading
Then it was time
Close to 400 people were there by the time the Clarks got on
The seating situation all went to hell after that and everybody rushed the staged where we were once again as close as possible and center
I kinda felt bad for all the people that won radio contests and got special seats in front of all the bleachers, because their sets were quickly overrun, which was kinda funny
I am far-sighted, I need glasses to see, but when stuff is really close to me I have to take them off because it gets blurry
I had to take my glasses off for the clarks
Thats how close
I have never been this close at a concert
No not even droppin 300 for justin and Christina
Even offspring I was only up against the wall temporarily
It was about 30 degrees out by then, everyone was soaking moist, but it didn't matter
We just stopped feeling it
It was all college kids to
From WVU, WestVirginiaWesylan, IUP
There was no 300 pound guy in front of you blocking your view
Or bitchy old ladies behind you telling you to sit down
A bunch of kids having a good time, jumpin around, standing on chairs, throwing cigarettes on stage
npocs group provided the lighter Scott Blasley used to light his cigarette, got a drum stick, play list, 3 autographs from him after the show, pictures with the band, closeup pictures during the show on the camera phone (will be posted on the blog as soon as I get my phone back in the service area) and found out that the lead guitarist lived in Etna,PA and went to Shaler
They left no song unturned
Penny on the Floor, Chasing Girls, Let it Go, Better Off Without Yinz, Snowman, Butterflies and Airplanes, Caroline, Born To Late
Incredible night
Casablanca for pizza after
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days after that
I fell asleep, but I tried watching
All part of are Sober Friday Night In Morgantahn
Let It Go
