The Post Game Post
The greatest night of my life
Dear Hokies, Please ACCept this going away present
West Virginia Mountaineers 28
Virginia Tech Hokies 7

Mahntaneer field was electric
The PIT was incredible
Thats where we began are night, it was packed like never before
You could feel it starting right there, it was about 25 degrees
npoc went with the shortsleeve look

We made are way to the field about 7
The lines were wrapped around and around
We finally made are way in and went straight to the student section
There wasn't an inch of standing room on the bleachers
Just after we made it in, are section was closed down
We stood against the rail on the 50 yard line in front of the student section
My roommate stood on the rail and I held him up as he led the cheers and chants
After arguing with event staff, we were quickly removed from are standing location and my roommate was ejected from the game and had his ID taken

He managed to sneak back in
And we moved to are new seating location in 110, in the corner, but a lot closer to the field for easier access in case of a win
I wanted the shutout and we should have had it
The VTech touchdown was a fluke and everyone knows it, but I wont complain about officiating
Brian King intercepted Bryan Randall last year in the endzone to win the game in Blacksburg, VA
He intercepted Randall twice
Quincy ran 33 times
Rasheed Marshall (from....Picksburg) 93 yard touchdown pass to Travis
Everyone lost it, the stadium shook, the bleachers were vibrating
Everyone began to realize
The longer it lasted the more everyone believed

Finally with 19 seconds left on the play clock, the students took the field
It was over, it didn't sink in yet but nonetheless, to the field we went
The shirt was off, I jumped over a 20 foot wall and nearly snapped my ankles

npoc guaranteed it in yesterdays post
go ahead and look

This wasn't just a win for WestVirginia
It was a win for Pitt, Rutgers, UCONN, and Syracuse
All the teams that Vtech turned their back on and left out in the cold

"This is the greatest thing that could have happened to college football this year"
-Trev Alberts

On Around the Horn before the game
"Nobody goes into Morgantown and expects to win"
-Woody Paige

Running onto the fieldturf at Mahntaneer Stadium was indescribable
Laying down, sprawled across the WV on the 50 yard line with no shirt
Theres a picture to prove it
Chest bumpin with everyguy I saw on the field
Running into an old friend from St.Raphaels on the field and then trying to take a fieldgoal post with him
I was sprayed 4 times
2 direct shots
We used the sideline bleachers as battering rams
I spit on several officers and attempted to grab a mountie hat
The posts were guarded like you have never seen
Sportscenter showed the police brutality around the goal posts
Front page of USAToday, Sportsline.com showed the cops spraying
Finally Coach Rod came over the public address system and thanked all the students for their support and asked us to leave the field
I was passed out on the ground around the 22 yard line gagging and unable to see
I lost everyone and the cell phone system was flooded so no calls were going through

We didn't get to tear down the fieldgoal posts so we had to burn dahn the tahn
90 fires were reported
Grant Street was shutdown
Power was cutoff
Couches, debris, recliners, anything and everything
I thought people exaggerated what happened last year
But after seeing it happen first hand, there is no way to describe it
I love this town
Fuck The Hokies
