14 Days of PBC Park
Days 1-3
-North Side, Picksburg

The NL East leading Marlins visited the Pirates for a four game trip to kick off the 13 game Pirate homestand on the North Side. The Marlins entered with 6 consecutive losses in PBC Park and now teetering on the brink of being swept 4-0 by the buccos the Marlins have dropped 9 straight games in the countries finest ballpark.

The Pirates have found themselves losing early on in the games that have usually been back and forth. We have seen one extra innings game, a 9-1 blowout, a bottom of the 8th 2-run homerun to win it, a Rob Mackowiack grand slam and Jack Wilson return to his last season form.

I have downed 1.5 capicola and cheeses and .5 cheesesteaks thus far. Attendance has been terribly off for the Pirates considering the weather and the success the team is having, that should turn around this evening and of course with what is expected to be a solid weekend lineup.

I nearly ended up on the Disabled List for tonights game but I battled back from the flu and it looks like this could be a game-time decision but I will list myself as probable.

Plenty of Florida fans have made the trip up to this quite river hamlet to take in the four game series. Every one of them that has came through my line has told a story of the hundreds and hundreds of stiller bars around the country, especially in Florida.

Underage Transaction of the Week

Another kid who looked around 18-19ish got his first beer off of me and I did not think anything of it, until he got his second and third and fourth from me (these are 24oz'ers)
Even though I had a long line and other lines were empty he stayed in my line knowing I refused to card
smart kid

I met up with some Miami Media personnel, they did the radio coverage for the game and stopped by to pick up a few cheesesteaks, they promised to give a shoutout to the Primantis sandwich on the radio broadcast of the game. They offered plenty of solid insight into the broadcasting field and told em to stop back later in the series.

My cousin Mike stopped through my line too, he just told me that he's attending WVU in the fall as a freshman, I am glad I can influence so many people to attend school in Morgantown.

The fund has climbed up to $73 dollars with even more pledged, I may make it after all.

I am off to game four, see yinz dahn at the ballpark
