The Quest for 100
-In workman like fashion the Buccos take care of business once again, losing their sixth consecutive game. However they did hold a 3-2 lead, albeit for only half an inning, but this still allowed me to trim my losing streak beard. Its coming in very nicely as I have not undergone a full shave since April 18.
That just happened to be the day Jeff The Soups Ann Suppan got shelled, however there would be no such thing tonight with Victory Santos on the mound.
The Battlin buccos have now lost 7 of their last 8 and are one loss away from making my 0-6 prediction of the road trip come true.
A tough stretch of games shows this young team is just not up to the challenge at this point. The Bucs have to stay patient with the young pitching, though.
