Now onto those pathetic Buccos
Swept Off Their Feet By the Snakes
Pirates nearing rock bottom once again
NL Central Basement (NP)- Snakebitten by the Diamondbacks losing three of three at Chase and only taking one from the Indians made this a 1-5 roadtrip for the NL's WORST TEAM. However this 1-5 roadswing improved their winning pct. in road games. It is beginning to get tougher to paint a picture of how bad this bumbling group of fucks really is. Hopefully coming home for a 10 game homestand with a record as bad as the succos will provide an even more hostile atmosphere against the Pirates right here at home.
KKK Club of Pittsburgh
Craig Wilson is dominating this competition even though he has 30 less at bats than most players. With 42 strikeouts he is three against overweight Jeremy Burnitz. Jason Bay has to be in the conversation too with 37.

The Nationals, Arizona, LA, Colorado, San Diego, San Francisco, Florida and New York all have won more games against the Central than the Pirates. And none of those teams even play in the central.
4-22 on the road is the worst road record in the NL and most road losses in MLB

4-14 record in one run games, nobody even comes close to that.

TRIBUNE-REVIEW
Thursday, May 25, 2006
PHOENIX -- At 19 games under .500 just 47 games into the season, it seems too easy to suggest that there is no defense for these Pirates.
In dropping three games to the Arizona Diamondbacks -- including an 8-7 defeat Wednesday under the roof at Chase Field -- the Pirates didn't play any defense, either.
Zach Duke is now tied for the league lead in losses
Odds of losing 100 games: 91%
On pace to go: 45-117
Road to the World Cup
Fifa Rankings Adjust
FIFA is adopting a new world soccer ranking system. It's easy to see why.
Under the old scheme, the United States rose to No. 4 in April's rankings -- its highest ever position. The eye-popping rise occurred a few weeks after the Americans were routed, 4-1, by World Cup host Germany.
FIFA's new computer rankings, with new criteria to rate the world's top teams, will be released July 12, three days after the World Cup ends.
Few serious soccer fans would place the Americans in the world's top 10, possibly not even the top 15.
Under FIFA's present system, five world soccer powers are ranked behind the United States: France (No. 8), Argentina (9), England (10), Italy (13) and Germany (19).
14 Days til the World Cup
Group B Breakdown
England 4/7
Sweden 2/1
Paraguay 7/1
Trinidad & Tobago 40/1
This group should not provide too much drama, each country will get a bye as they play by far the worst world cup team in decades, in Trinidad & Tobago. Paraguay might make things a little interesting, their game against Sweden will be the most critical of the Group. I will give England a free pass to the next round even with the injuries to the club however, them winning the Group is by no means a lock, and a stumble against Sweden could relegate them to facing another groups No. 1 seed in the round of 16.
Bonds sits at 714 homeruns tied with Babe Ruth as unfortunate as it is. His Bonds on Bonds show just got canceled, he is falling apart at the joints and should be dead by his early 50's with all the shit he pumped into his body.
Giants fans knew Bonds as the moody brooder who got shouted down by Jim Leyland in spring training, and as the guy who couldn't throw out Sid Bream from second base in the 1992 NLCS.
