The tournament was opened up with an incredible matchup, Mary Jo had just sunk a ball in to npocs last cup when npoc responded by not making one but two redemption shots to send the crowd into a frenzy, Mary Jo would later come back in triple overtime to pull off the upset and advance

The much anticipated couples match was over pretty quickly as Tony made a back to back shots twice during the game and never gave angie a chance to get into it, Tony looked in top form and instantly became a favorite to win it all

Donley bowed out of the tournament early after losing consciousness and puking over ritters porch and knocking a gigantic flower pot over after downing a 1/3 of a bottle of rum

npoc gets a second chance and stuns the beer ponging world by knocking off Ritter who just hours ago ran the table in prelims, the entire house gathered to watch ritter finally be defeated, Ritter put up a valiant effort though by draining redemption shots to keep the game going for nearly a half hour, after doing this he punched himself in the head repeatedly

Jillian sneeks into the second round via a bye, but mary jo was relentless, showing no mercy at all and dropping jride like freshman calculus, she advanced to the finals in record time, shooting nearly 50% from the field and making her final cup on her first try

The match to end all matches, the highly talked about and muchly anticipated Family Match, direnzos vs tolomeos, grease ball vs grease ball, cousins vs cousin, unshaven vs unshaven
For the third consecutive match, npocs game went into OT as Tony saved himself by making a redemption shot and prolonging the game, the drama was raised and no matter how bad everyone had to pee, they refused to leave the table
Tony hit his first shot of OT and npoc was unable to answer finally ending the family match, arguably the greatest contest of the evening

The lights were turned down, the stakes were turned up, the candles were lit and we played flaming beer pong for the championship and title as biggest lush of the summer of 2004
The tension was as thick as the grease in tonys hair, and the drama was higher than his cholesterol, the sweat was dripping from both competitors foreheads, the balls were dropping into cups with relative ease, the entire household was transfixed except donley who was still puking over the front of the porch, tony was up 4 cups to 2 and maryjo had a near impossible 3-0-1 cup setup working against her, she miraculously made 2 in a row and got the balls sent back, there was no rearranging in the finals aloud and tony was stuck with an unfavorable formation, maryjo eventually drained the last 2 cups and tony had no answer on his side of the table, and maryjo was crowned beer pong champion
