PBC, Heyinz, Hank Jr., Roma vs Chelsea, Rednecks and Italians

The Monthly State of the blog Address
Dear fellow npocaholics,
Im maintaining the once a week posts during the summer, I know it lacks the quality of my posts during school and certainly the quantity is shorter too, as there are no longer 2 a day posts. This is because this computer is soooo slow at home and cause NOTHING happens around here in the summer. And all my npocaholics have shown me their disaproval by not visiting the site, as my hit tracker informs me, July 2004 was my lowest visitor month in blogging history since I started keeping track. This trend has been going on since May when I left school and continues to get lower and lower, but as I return to school later this month I'm sure all the npocaholics shall return along with my bi-daily posts.
Thanks for blogging

PBC Park Work Week
-North Shore, Picksburg
First of all, that is not a spelling error, I have sold the naming rights of PNC Bank to Picksburg Brewing Company cause first of all we sell PBC products in the park while there are NOOO PNC Banks in there and second of all cause no out of tahners know what the fuck pnc stands for
You know why?
Cause it stands for nothing! Seriously, it stands for absolutely nothing
But anyways
The buccos were in tahn for 7 games, played pretty good, swept the reds then dropped 3 of 4 from the braves
I think I've been permanently moved to Primanti brothers on the main concourse, getting used to it, not bad now, I can talk sports with all the cooks, the only young white guys in the entire park and the stand leader just chugs arns all day long
I did have to sell those goddamn dollardogs on monday, I sold over 200, pretty incredible I know

Heyinz Filld
-North Shore, Picksburg
Thats right, theres name changes all up and dahn the allegheny
Heinz Field is now Hey Yinz Filled, much easier for all the yinzers to spit out after 4 hours of tailgating. I made my triumphant return there to work the soccer practice and soccer game (more on those later). I got to be the manager for the soccer game and just ran the show. Me samuel and jride took over the stand after our supervisor just left the scene, we were chugging budlight from the tap and I pulled a barney rubble from the simpsons and stuck my mouth under the tap, all while on the clock may I add

CS Chelsea vs AS Roma
Italian fans were outnumbered suprisingly and the 65,000 capacity heyinz filld only houses 25,00 for this event but the atmosphere was pretty once in a lifetime
A few hooligans were spotted, giant flags, huge horns, cowbells and old italian men looking for "real" food. One guy even brought suprasatta with him. I met many cousins I didn't even know I had, saw old ones I hadn't seen in a while, nandez and joecomp showed up at the game too.
But Roma didnt. they lost 3-0, but they played without casano and pannucci, it was basically totti all by himself
Hopefully soccer returns to picksburg, if you didnt go this time, you missed a great atmosphere and something yinz all aint gonna get to see too often
Roma held it down alright representing southern italy and there were many calabrese in attendance
You Might Be a Redneck If...
  • Your daddy handed out cigarettes the day you were born
  • You mouth the lines while watching Dukes of Hazzard reruns
  • You waited in line overnight for a tire sale

Im gonna change thigns up a little and for every "you might be a redneck" Im gonna write a "you might be an italian"

You Might Be an Italian If...

  • Your pappa handed out bottles of wine the day you were born
  • You mouth the lines while watching The Godfather
  • You waited in line overnight for grapes to go on sale in the strip district at 3am (I am dead serious)

Rockin Randall Hank Williams Junior & Montgomery Gentry

-Burgettestahn, PA

Hank Jr. Eddie and Troy were all pretty trashed when they played their sets, but amazingly still put on decent shows. The tailgating got foiled by a late exit but I amazing pulled up one row behind nest his sister and big bubash. We saw mares on the way on in too. The lawn was once again the place to be. Jride retired early, nest vanished and maryjo nearly went maryshow on us as she rolled around the lawn with a plethora of different guys. My one guarantee of the night was that Hank would wear a stiller jersey to play, and he did. (he even attended their training camp the day after the show) All my rowdy friends (have settled on down) and (are coming over tonight) and he closed with one of the top sing alongs EVER, family tradition

so much more to go on about, Ill post again this week
