This election is the biggest event of the year
I get an entire day off, I get to bet on it and then I get to watch all these people that have been holding signs for years and dedicating their lives to this election realize that everything they have done has gone to waste
If your planning on watching on TV, I suggest NBC, apparently they are turning the rockefeller ice rink into a giant map of the US with states and after a state is called, it will be lit up according to who won it and the side of the GE building will have lights projected onto them to showcase the electoral vote count
That is pretty incredible and makes for some interesting TV
Well with no further ado, I present my first ever 5***** Chairmans Best pick of the (four) years
Game: Presidential Election
Odds: President Bush 5-8
John Kerry 7-5
This race will come down to Ohio, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania
Kerry might be able to carry Ohio, but Bush has made an incredible comeback in PA and he has dominated Wisconsin since day one
He just needs to win one and if this Philadelphia voting scandal does not get in the way then Bush should carry PA, (probably the last state that will be up in the air) and win this election handily
I will set the spread at 35 electoral votes, it really will not be close
Take Bush with the 5-8 odds, and lay a lot on it
Its rare you get to bet on something that is so clear cut

and it wasnt even close, they were over 30 points by halftime as I predicted then over the 35.5 in the third quarter. It really wasnt close, npoc improves his record on 2** picks.
