My how the great have fallen. The best part of the Emerald Bowl is that they play it in a baseball stadium on pure mud and both teams share one sideline, that always makes things a little more interesting.

Am I the only person incredibly excited to see Larry Coker and Brandon Meriweather (pictured to the right pretending he is turf) close out their college football careers in Boise Idaho in late December on blue turf? If this game would of been in any other city without an average temperature of 3 degrees Coker would not be coaching it. This is his final punishment for a 6-6 season.

Biggest one game swing in bowl history. Rutgers goes from the Orange Bowl to the Texas Bowl. 10 days earlier and viewed by 4 million less people (thank you NFL Network.) Alls Judge Jeremy Ito had to do was kick a 50 yard field goal in Morgantown and New Jersay natives wouldn't have to worry about where to watch their bowl game.
