Mr. Saturday Afternoon Returns
After dominating Thursday night, Friday night, Sunday afternoon and Labor Day Mr. Saturday Afternoon puts his 22 units, yes that is 22 UNITS before week two is even over, on the line today with a huge slate of games, that are guaranteed to dominate once again.
Navy and Balls Tate backdoored the under for me last night but it was never in doubt in my mind.

On the high school scene Shaler improves to 2-0 under Neil Gordon and the school that fired him and was ranked No. 1 in the Post-Gazette preseason poll, Penn Hills, lost again to fall to 0-2. The Penn Hills scoreboard is not pleased to say the least. And Hampton, the team that former Shaler coach Jacques DeMatteo left is also 0-2.
They square off next week in a dandy job done by the schedule makers, Jacques against his former school.
West Virginia is going to be in a dog fight today in their biggest early season game since well before my freshman year. They are giving 8 points to East Carolina and I am avoiding this game at all costs.

Believe or not but the Big East has the best record ATS in the non-conference games over the past five plus seasons.
Keep your eye on Western Kentucky the newest member of Division 1-A.
