Don't adjust your TV sets that is the No. 9 team in the country undefeated Boyseee State playing the No. 11 TCU Horny Frogs tonight in the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl or the SDCCUPB.
The match made in heaven with the countries best defense IMO, ranked No. 2 nationally and a Boysee State team that won at Oregon in impressive fashion and is still undeafeted. Split national championship anyone?
Welp I won't go that far but if Boysee wins this game you have to envision them finishing at least in the top five. That is a really good TCU team over there.
Tuesday's Bowl
12.23.08
San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl
No. 9 Boysee State 16
No. 11 TCU 17
8:00 p.m. ESPN
TCU -3 Over 45
What We Get: A Boysee State team that won 37-32 at Oregon and embarassed BCS supposed buster Fresno State 61-10 to close out the season and a TCU team that sustained its only losses at No. 1 Oklahoma 35-10 and at No. 6 Utah 13-10 in a game TCU had all but sealed up. When you can watch a game like this before Christmas, on a Tuesday night no less, it is a good thing.
What the Players Get: iPod Touch, Hilfiger watch, you think the bowl game upped the presents this year when they found out what game they were getting? I really cant imagine the San Diego County Credit Union giving out freaking iPod Touches if San Jose State and UL-Lafayette met in this bowl game.
What We Ended Up Getting: A classic. Boysee State coming out of the gate firing, jumping to a 13-0 lead, TCU mounting a furious rally to take the lead, Boysee State kicking a field goal for what appeared to be betting purposes only and then a near late miracle comeback was thwarted by a interception. The TCU defense came as billed in the second half especially. This was as good of a game as you will see without either team reaching 20 points. A couple controversial calls cost Boysee in the end including a premature holding call on what should have been the winning touchdown run by Ian Johnson (yes he is still there.)

TCU storms back from a 13-0 halftime deficit to take a 17-13 lead and then hold on for a 17-16 game in a defensive showcase that also had its fair share of big plays. The game lived up to all the hype. Ladian Tomlinson, a TCU alum, was on the sideline yelling how he bet his game check on this game.
