Bowl Breather

After a two-day five-game binge, Monday we are handed a bowl break, one of only two in December with the other coming on Christmas Day. This break will allow us to pick up the pieces from a disastrous weekend.

I awoke with my body wrapped around a living room coffee tablel and the dickey and pooch residence on South Side and then immediately made a bee line for Shenanigans where I watched the Titans nearly convert a 3rd and 20 and then score on the ensuing fourth and inches turning my four AFC Championship Tickets to a figurative mush, but I still have hope of the game taking place at Heyinz Filled.

After the nightlong and daylong binge Saturday into Sunday, I was in no shape to put together a writeup on the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl

8:15 p.m. ESPN

What We Should Get: Southern Miss donning highlighter yellow uniforms and taking the penalty of a timeout. Should be an evenly matched game with the possibility of some points scored and waht is sure to be an ESPN D squad working the game. Southern Miss was 2-6 at a point this season.

What the Players Get: A Watch and Nike Merchandise (that is pretty shitty)

What We Ended Up Getting: Overtime! Blocked Field GoalL! Gruesome broken leg

What else do you want in a bowl game. The genius that I am, I predicted the New Orleans Bowl and New Mexico bowl to smell and both turn out to be thrillers.
