March Madness Coverage
Wednesday
Its that night before christmas feel where you just cant go to bed. Thursday and Friday of the NCAA tournament are the second and third biggest day of the year for me right behind New Years Day (granted they're playing bowl games on it.)
The NIT is kind of like midnight mass, I have been watching it in preparation of the coming of the true madness, but if there is one thing that I can take away from NIT, its that the Big East is going to do very well in the tournament. Unlike last year where it had to rely on WVU to advance all the way to the Elite 8 to save some face this year, Notre Dame and Rutgers proved dominant in their performances against SEC and Big10 teams respectively. That gives you an idea of how strong the Big East was this year and I know that will translate to the NCAA tourney.
The over under in the Air Force Illinois game is 112, some teams might score that by themselves in other games. This game might just as uninteresting as Nevada and Montana. If Air Force didnt make the big dance, the NIT would of surely passed on them too, they are just that bad.
Detroit Rock City Tomorrow for the Madness
My second annual trip to experience the madness firsthand
Last year was incredible and this year seems to be likewise
Casinos, Basketball, Sports Bars, Canadia, The Palace of Auburn Hills, WVU Kansas Iowa Pitt, some great basketball will be played.
